Jason Lange has dedicated the last 10 years to achieving environmental outcomes in his work and personal life.
Jason actively seeks opportunities to implement sustainability into his everyday experience. As an ecoBiz Townsville Sustainability Coach, Jason considers the work he does to be a passion and privilege.
Jason has extensive experience in delivering innovative solutions to energy, water and waste challenges across all tiers of government, local business, internal council and Not for Profits in both Australia and Canada.
Jason’s unique set of skills and fundamental appreciation for the importance of SMEs globally, translates to his success with assisting small to medium enterprises through their sustainability journey. He understands it to be paramount that the business’s needs, motivations and barriers be established before relevant, transformative recommendations can be made.
Jason’s role in Townsville City Council involved the management and operation of the Rowes Bay Sustainability Centre – which has now had more than 15000 local students, businesses, international guest, residents and professionals through its doors.
Jason is an ISO 4001 certified Lead Auditor Environmental Management Systems and holds a Master’s degree in Water Leadership, a Bachelor of Science (Aquaculture) and completed his Postgraduate degree in Tropical Wetland Ecology from James Cook University.
